Clinical Hypnosis
Clinical Hypnotherapy
Is very safe, gentle, yet extremely effective.   It works by reprogramming the unconscious mind, helping to eliminate any old habits.

The unconscious mind is where all your information is stored, right from the moment you take your first breath.   Most of the information stored there is positive and helps you to get throughy our life and make any necessary decisions.   However, you also have stored in there all your old bad habits, some of which dates back to your childhood, and which often prevents you from moving forward in your life.   Hypnosis helps by ‘re-programming’ that part of your mind and changes negative thoughts into more positive ones, enabling you to take control of your life, allowing you to feel happier and more contented.

What is Hypnosis?
Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is not a state of deep sleep.  It does involve the induction of a trance-like condition, but when in it, you are actually in an enhanced state of awareness, concentrating entirely on the hypnotherapist's voice.  In this state, your unconscious mind becomes sensitive and receptive to the positive suggestions that your Hypnotherapist will put in it for your benefit. It then becomes part of your unconscious mind. The therapist is able to suggest ideas, concepts and lifestyle changes for you.
As such, hypnotherapy is a kind of psychotherapy.

Realistically no-one can be hypnotised against their will and even when hypnotised, a person can still reject any suggestion. Thus hypnotherapy is a state of purposeful co-operation.
